Technical Requirements

From a technical perspective, the task was to develop a website that communicates trust, creativity, and professionalism while remaining visually accessible to both kids and their parents. We needed to showcase the variety of courses, present key benefits, and provide user-friendly forms for inquiries and registration. The platform also needed to perform flawlessly across devices, with mobile optimization being critical for accessibility.

Problem/Solution

The problem we addressed was multi-layered: parents are often overwhelmed when it comes to choosing extracurriculars that will genuinely benefit their children. Traditional offerings feel outdated, unengaging, and disconnected from future job markets. Our solution was to introduce a fresh, vibrant platform where kids can discover potential career paths in an exciting way, while parents feel assured of the quality and vision behind the program.

Work Process:

The work process was broken down into several clear stages: initial user research, competitive analysis, concept sketching, wireframing, high-fidelity design, testing, and final development handoff.

My role was to oversee the entire UX/UI process, conduct user research, design the experience architecture, and lead the visual design execution.

Design Process

The design process started with deep research into both children's learning platforms and parents' decision-making patterns. We created mood boards, tested initial prototypes, and validated the direction through user interviews.

Design Strategy

The strategy we followed was human-centered design with a strong emphasis on accessibility, emotional resonance, and intuitive structure. We wanted the platform to speak to children without being childish, and to feel credible for adults without becoming too corporate

User Research

We conducted user research through surveys and interviews with parents of children aged 6–14. We identified key emotional triggers—trust, creativity, and clarity—as crucial decision-making points.

User Persona

From that, we developed a persona named Anna, a 34-year-old working mother of two. She’s concerned about the future of her children and seeks structured activities that are both educational and enjoyable. She values clear communication, security, and proven outcomes.

Empathy Map

From Anna's perspective, we built an empathy map that highlighted her thoughts ("I want the best for my child"), feelings ("anxious about wasting time or money"), pains ("confusing offers, unclear outcomes"), and gains ("a clear roadmap for my child’s interest"). This map helped us prioritize transparency and emotional tone in all interfaces.

Information Architecture

The information architecture was structured around key user needs: landing with a clear value proposition, understanding course options, meeting the team, exploring benefits, and easy contact. The flow was optimized so a parent could navigate from landing to course selection to registration in under 3 minutes.

User Flow

The user flow starts with emotional engagement (hero section with video/image and a call to action), proceeds through informational sections (benefits, statistics, course variety), then enters trust-building (team, reviews), and ends with conversion-oriented sections (cost breakdown, contact form). Every section is designed to answer a user’s mental question step-by-step.

UX Research Results

From a UX perspective, the project is built around empathy and clarity. We minimized distractions, grouped related information, and used visual cues to guide navigation. Our UX research revealed that users highly value concise, scannable information and real images of mentors. This insight directly informed the final layout and content strategy.

The result of the UX research shaped every UI decision I made. I used all gathered insights to develop a vibrant yet clean visual language. The UI of the project is characterized by a modern, playful aesthetic. We used a bright blue primary palette to evoke a sense of trust and clarity, with accent colors inspired by creativity and energy (from the vibrant scheme in our reference image). The typography was chosen for legibility and character—it balances modernity with approachability. Rounded interface elements, soft shadows, and large headings helped create a kid-friendly, yet professional atmosphere.The result of the UX research shaped every UI decision I made. The final result is a cohesive and engaging website that brings the JunySchool vision to life. It feels joyful and inspiring without losing clarity or credibility. My design decisions—backed by UX insights—allowed me to transform the UI kit into a functional and beautiful website. Every section flows naturally, and the site performs well across devices.

This project was incredibly rewarding to work on. It allowed me to merge analytical research with expressive visual design. Seeing the site come to life from user needs and strategic insights confirmed how impactful design can be when driven by empathy and purpose. I’m proud of the outcome and excited for the value JunySchool will bring to families exploring the future together.

Concept

As the lead designer of this project, I am proud to present JunySchool, a platform dedicated to introducing children to modern and in-demand professions through engaging, creative, and structured educational experiences. This project was conceived with the intent to give children not only knowledge, but confidence in choosing a future profession that aligns with their interests and the demands of the modern world.

The concept of the project revolves around bridging the gap between childhood curiosity and real-world professions. We wanted to create a learning environment that feels fun and inspiring, while being structured and practical. The idea was to let kids experience programming, robotics, painting, animation, and more—guided by real professionals—within a digital ecosystem that feels both serious and playful.
