For the technical requirements, I needed a seamless, scalable structure that allowed for easy content updates and dynamic visuals. The platform had to integrate high-resolution images, engaging animations, and structured information while ensuring fast load times and mobile responsiveness.

Problem/Solution

One of the major pain points in this industry is the difficulty in communicating the essence of architectural work online. Many architecture firms struggle with balancing visual storytelling and detailed project information. Users often find it hard to navigate complex portfolios, leading to frustration. My solution was to design a clear and engaging interface that guides users naturally through the site, providing an optimal balance between aesthetics and functionality.

Information Architecture

The information architecture was structured hierarchically, starting with a visually compelling homepage, leading to dedicated sections for projects, awards, research, and company values. This ensured easy navigation and logical flow of information.

User Flow

I meticulously mapped out the user flow to ensure a logical and seamless journey for users. The flow begins at the homepage, where users are introduced to the company's architectural philosophy through striking visuals and concise messaging. From there, they can navigate to the 'Projects' section to explore completed works, with filters allowing them to refine searches based on categories like communities, culture, housing, and education. Clicking on a project provides an in-depth view, including high-quality images, descriptions, and awards. The 'Awards' section highlights industry recognition, reinforcing credibility. The 'R&D Program' section details ongoing research initiatives, positioning the company as an innovator in architecture. A strong call to action is strategically placed across the platform, guiding users toward initiating a project inquiry, ensuring a smooth transition from inspiration to engagement.
